Press Release 10-15-07
Chefs’ Repertoire, Inc. creator and manufacturer of the Savory Secret™ line of Appetizer Cheesecakes and Spicy Crisp Crackers has been chosen to create a custom appetizer for the 41st Annual CMA Awards after party, November 7, 2007.
The company was contacted by the Nashville Convention Center’s Executive Chef Marc Trottier and asked to create the most amazing appetizer imaginable using goat cheese. According to Chef Trottier, “This Company is a joy to work with. They are open to being creative and thinking beyond traditional appetizers.”
Executive Chef Susannah Bailey created a Goat Cheese and Herbes de Provence Cheesecake on a Spicy Crisp Cracker Pillow. The appetizer will be made the day of the awards and delivered to the Nashville Convention Center just in time for the party. Chef Trottier will then add a slice of ripe honeydew melon, hazelnuts and a balsamic reduction. The resulting appetizer is sure to be a hit at the event.
Amy Hakola, President of Chefs’ Repertoire, Inc. feels that it is critical for local companies to support Nashville manufacturers, “It is a win-win situation when local companies support manufacturers such as Savory Secret™. To be given the opportunity to showcase our products at the CMA awards is a great honor.”
According to Chef Susannah, “Our products are not something that are familiar to most people. How many people think of Gorgonzola & Pears when they think of cheesecake? Events such as the CMA’s give us the chance to have people try our products and become more familiar with what a savory cheesecake is all about.” The company’s most popular flavor is a Gorgonzola & Pear Cheesecake.
Chefs’ Repertoire, Inc. is the sole source provider of Savory Cheesecakes in the world. Located in downtown Nashville the company sells its products all over the US and is a feature in the Neiman Marcus Holiday Catalog for 2007. Retail and wholesale orders are accepted.

Great Compliment
I recently was introducd to your products while at a wine tasting at
Linden Vineyards in Virginia. The tasting initially was a Linden 2004
Late Harvest Vidal. The wine was good but a little too sweet for my
taste. Then our host paired this same wine with your Gorgonzola and Pear
Cheesecake. FABULOUS!!!!!! The combination was unreal. I didn’t know
anything like that pairing could exist on this planet. The two
complemented each other like nothing I had tasted before. As soon as I can
get back to Linden Vineyards to pick up the wine I am going to purchase
the cheesecake as well.
Thank you for the wonderful product.
Sincerely
Lee
Nashville Lifestyles
We are featured in Nashville Lifestyles April issue. The following has been taken from the article.
“If you’re craving something rich and succulent, Susannah Callaway(Bailey) and Amy Hakola of Savory Secret have created what they call the World’s Finest Appetizer - savory cheescakes that make a marvelous alternative to the quiches, stuffing and bread puddings out there. These all-natural concotions come in artisan flavor combos like Gorgonzola & Pear, Red Pepper with Pine Nut & Feta and Smoked Salmon & Dill. They sell for a very reasonable price–especially considering they could feed a small army–making them an easy addition to your cocktail and appetizer evening or your cozy dinner fete……”
